Making food for the most watched television event of the year has to include football meal classics like Buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, pizza and chips. Although these are all good options, they can get a little repetitive year after year. With the final game of the season approaching you’re going to want to score a few points with your guests—these recipes will help.
They’re cute, they’re delicious, and they look like footballs! These football-shaped pizza pockets are sure to please your guests, both visually and with their taste. These pizza pockets are made with Hunt’s Diced Tomatoes, shredded mozzarella cheese, cooked Italian sausage, slices of pepperoni and pie dough shaped into footballs.
Football Meatloaf with Sweet Tomato Glaze
It’s a meatloaf shaped like a football (how fun!) and that it’s relatively simple to make. In a large bowl combine beef, onions, peppers, French bread, eggs, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco. After that, form the meatloaves into the shape of footballs, place them in the oven, and when they’re done … touchdown!
Not once, but twice. Twice-Baked Potato Footballs is the type of recipe that will delight all your guests. There are two parts to this recipe: preparing the queso and preparing the potatoes. For the queso, all you’ll need are strips of bacon, pasteurized cheese and zesty tomatoes like RO*TEL. For the potatoes, make sure to pre-boil them first and when they’ve cooled, scoop out the inside of the potato, leaving the skin intact. After, stuff the skin with the potato you originally scooped out. Then into the oven it goes.
No party is complete without cheesy dip, and there’s no reason to miss out on dip when it’s this easy to make. In a slow cooker place cream cheese, shredded rotisserie chicken, diced tomatoes, brown sugar and molasses; set it to high and wait until the cheese has melted. Next, cut out the center of a loaf of sourdough bread, pour the dip inside and serve. Just be sure not to double dip!

This edible football is made with cream cheese, Colby Jack cheese, black beans, green onions, chopped chorizo and RO*TEL.
