Ingredients

1 pound Italian pork sausage

1 cup frozen chopped vegetable blend for seasoning (onion, celery, bell pepper)

1 cup sliced fresh button mushrooms

1 can (28 oz each) Hunt's® Crushed Tomatoes with Basil

2 cups water
-
1-1/4 cups dry large elbow macaroni, uncooked

1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

Shredded Parmesan cheese, optional

Step one
Heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage, frozen vegetable blend and mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes or until sausage is crumbled and vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from skillet, drain and set aside.

Step two
Place tomatoes, water and macaroni in skillet; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium; cook uncovered 10 to 12 minutes or until macaroni is tender.

Step three
Add garlic salt and return meat mixture to skillet. Toss to combine. Sprinkle with cheese, if desired.
